Who We Are
Independent Research for Technology & Cybersecurity Leadership in Southeast Asia
Logic Lock Group is an independent SEA cybersecurity intelligence analyst, founded in March 2026 to close a gap the region’s buyers were navigating without good options: most market research is either produced by vendors with a commercial interest in the outcome, or by global analysts whose coverage of Southeast Asia’s regulatory nuance is thin.
The firm is new. The expertise behind it isn’t — our research is led by Toshitaka “Toshi” Arai, a practitioner with over 25 years of experience across cybersecurity, cloud platforms, enterprise software, consulting, and digital transformation, with senior leadership roles held across Asia Pacific and globally.
We don’t take vendor sponsorships. We don’t publish sponsored content. Our work is funded by the people who read it, which means our only obligation is to give you an accurate, useful picture of the market.
Cybersecurity is where we start. As the firm grows, we plan to expand coverage into broader technology markets — bringing the same independent, buyer-oriented approach to adjacent areas of enterprise technology across Southeast Asia.

What We Cover
We track cybersecurity vendors and AI-era security dynamics across Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines — assessed against SEA’s on-the-ground threat landscape and the regulatory frameworks that actually govern procurement in each market, including MAS TRM, PDPA, PDP Law, OJK guidelines, BOT requirements, and Vietnam’s PDPL.
Regulatory frameworks shift on their own timeline in every market we cover, and vendor claims about compliance posture are not always current by the time a buyer reads them. Part of our role as an independent SEA cybersecurity intelligence analyst is tracking those changes directly, rather than repeating a vendor’s own account of their compliance status.
Our research is built for buyers, not vendors.
Our Work
- AI and Cybersecurity Reports — independent research on AI’s impact on the threat landscape and defensive opportunity across six SEA markets
- Regulatory Compliance Reports — in-depth vendor assessments scored across compliance, regional depth, and strategic commitment to SEA
- Market Insights — analysis of regulatory developments, procurement trends, and market shifts
- Coverage by Market — dedicated pages across Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines
- Advisory & Strategic Consultation — spot advisory engagements for enterprises navigating a specific vendor decision, regulatory question, or procurement strategy, drawing directly on our research and the analyst’s practitioner background
Each report follows the same published methodology, scored consistently across every vendor and market — so a reader comparing two reports a year apart, or two vendors in the same category, is comparing like with like.
Why an Independent SEA Cybersecurity Intelligence Analyst Matters
The Southeast Asia cybersecurity market is maturing rapidly, but the intelligence available to buyers hasn’t kept pace. Most existing research comes from two directions: vendors publishing their own comparative claims, or global analyst firms whose coverage treats Southeast Asia as a footnote to a larger regional or global report. Neither produces the kind of regulatory-specific, buyer-side scrutiny this market actually needs.
Our methodology is built around regulatory alignment rather than feature comparison — a vendor’s compliance posture is treated as seriously as its technical capability, and we assess both without commercial relationships with the vendors we cover.
Who We Work For
Our primary audience is the security and technology buyer at mid-market to large enterprises operating in or entering Southeast Asia — across both regulated industries, where compliance frameworks directly shape procurement, and non-regulated sectors that face the same vendor evaluation challenges without a compliance mandate driving them. This includes CISOs, IT directors, procurement leads, and risk officers. We also serve advisory firms, legal and compliance teams, and institutional investors who need an accurate, independent picture of the regional landscape.
Logic Lock Group is based in Singapore and covers cybersecurity and technology markets across Southeast Asia.
