Toshi Arai

Founder, Chief Executive & Chief of Product, Logic Lock Group

Toshi Arai founded Logic Lock Group in March 2026 after more than 25 years in enterprise technology — spanning cybersecurity, cloud platforms, digital transformation, and enterprise software, with senior leadership roles held across Asia Pacific, Japan, and globally.

His career includes directing cybersecurity consulting and threat intelligence practices across the region, leading global cloud business development for financial services enterprises, and over a decade in industry sales and business development leadership at major technology firms. Earlier in his career, he worked in enterprise IT consulting and systems engineering within financial services.

That combination — deep vendor-side experience paired with buyer-side consulting — is the foundation Logic Lock Group’s research is built on. Having sat inside the vendor relationships this research now evaluates independently, Toshi built the firm’s methodology around the questions buyers actually need answered, not the ones vendors are prepared to answer.

Our Approach

  • Independent — no vendor sponsorships, no paid placements
  • Buyer-oriented — written for procurement leads, not marketing teams
  • Regionally grounded — built around the frameworks that actually govern SEA markets, such as the MAS TRM Guidelines in Singapore, not generic global standards
  • Transparent — our methodology is published and applied consistently across every report
